ABOUT US

The Australia China Friendship Society Queensland was founded in 1952 and was established to promote a better understanding of China, and peace with China in Australia. We have been long committed to developing friendships through events, cultural exchanges, celebrations and more. Members are all volunteers who wish to share in the richness the Chinese culture brings to Australia and Queenslanders.

Strengthening the connection between the people of Australia and China enhances understanding for the mutual benefit of both countries. The ACFS is in a unique position to support the growth of these relationships. We have a proud history in promoting, by showcasing amazing social, cultural, industrial, technological and economic changes in Australia and China and developing close personal links.

We welcome and appreciate the ongoing collaboration with other organisations, and the work of so many volunteers who support our society.
